RECORD YOUR VIDEO

You have THREE video submission options:

• Write and sing your own verse to the ‘Niagara Song’
  (Instrumental MP3 provided)


• Sing the chorus from the ‘Niagara Song’ (Chorus MP3 provided)


• Write and sing your own original song about Niagara

Please note: You may film more than one video submission option, but they must be contained in one video submission file (url).

You can use your cell phone, digital camera, or even your computer's web cam. Use the Niagara song as your background music and give us your best performance!

Videos cannot be any longer than 4 minutes; and shorter is preferred. Be sure to get permission if you decide to film on or in front of any private or restricted property (use "location release" form), and also be sure to get a "personal release" form for anyone else that may appear in your video.

SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO

Whatever the format, you'll need to upload the finished video to YouTube. Come back to this site and fill out the entry form on the home page. Paste your video's unique URL into the box provided. Your video will be reviewed and if it meets all submission criteria, will be added to the site's video gallery within 48 hours after submission. You must be at least 18 years old to enter the contest.

Deadline for submission is 11:59pm May 11^st, 2012. The sooner you get your video submitted, the better chance you have at getting more votes. Plus, those that get their video in before January 31^st, 2012 have the chance to be included in the official Niagara Social Project music video.

SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD

After your video appears on the Niagara Social Project's video gallery page, click the links to share your video entry with family and friends via Facebook, Twitter, or email and encourage them to watch and vote for their favourite videos! Judging and the announcement of our grand-prize winner will take place in May 2012.
